Day 1: Fly from Zanzibar – Full Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled 06:00 am flight to Selous (Nyerere National Park). Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by your professional English-speaking guide and begin a full-day game drive in Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary, covering approximately 54,600 km² — larger than Denmark and four times the size of the Serengeti.

Nyerere National Park hosts one of the largest concentrations of elephants and buffalo in Africa. You may also see lions, leopards, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, impalas, elands, waterbucks, hippos, crocodiles, and an incredible variety of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Late afternoon transfer to Nyerere Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Selous (Nyerere National Park)

Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness. After an early breakfast or morning coffee, depart for another full-day game drive in a specially modified 4×4 safari vehicle.
Your guide will take you to different areas of the park, exploring river systems, open plains, and woodland habitats. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a scenic and safe location near water, where animals often gather to drink.
Spend the afternoon tracking wildlife and observing animal behavior in this vast and uncrowded park.
Return to the lodge around sunset for dinner and overnight at Nyerere Tented Camp.

Day 3: Boat Safari & Walking Safari – Fly Back to Zanzibar

After breakfast, enjoy a morning boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. This unique water-based safari allows you to get close to hippos, crocodiles, and a wide range of birdlife from a different perspective.
After the boat safari, proceed for a guided walking safari accompanied by a bushman (conducted outside the park). This experience offers insight into the local ecosystem, animal
tracks, plants, and traditional survival skills.
Return for lunch before being transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to
Zanzibar.
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred back to your hotel.
