Day 1: Zanzibar – Dar es Salaam – Iringa
Depart from Zanzibar on the 07:00 am ferry to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival at approximately 08:30 am, meet your driver-guide and begin the scenic drive to Iringa, located near Ruaha National Park.
Check-in at Iringa Sunset Lodge and enjoy the lodge amenities. Relax and unwind before dinner.

Day 2: Iringa – Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, continue the drive into Ruaha National Park. Begin your first game drive as you explore the park’s savannahs, riverine forests, and rocky outcrops.
Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, lions, leopards, and a wide variety of antelope. The scenic Ruaha River attracts hippos and crocodiles, while over 370 bird species inhabit the park.
Check-in at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3-4: Full-Day Game Drives in Ruaha National Park
Spend two full days exploring Ruaha National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.
Your expert guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing locations, including riverbanks, plains, and hills. Enjoy picnic lunches in the park while observing elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs, and a
diversity of antelope species.
The Ruaha River provides dramatic landscapes and opportunities to photograph hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Return to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge each evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ruaha – Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, depart Ruaha and drive back to Dar es Salaam. Enjoy a scenic drive with opportunities to capture the Tanzanian countryside. Picnic lunch en route.
Transfer to your onward destination or flight back to Zanzibar.
