Day 1: Zanzibar – Dar es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve

● Depart Zanzibar early on the 07:00 am ferry to Dar es Salaam.
● Upon arrival, meet your guide and drive approximately 4 hours to Selous Game Reserve.
● Enjoy an afternoon boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants drinking at the riverbank, and a variety of birdlife.
● Dinner and overnight at Selous Tented Camp.

Day 2: Walking Safari & Game Drive

● After breakfast, embark on a morning walking safari with an experienced ranger, exploring the bush on foot.
● Enjoy a full-day 4×4 game drive, spotting Selous’ incredible wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and more.
● Afternoon relaxation at the camp or optional short boat safari.
● Dinner and overnight at Selous Tented Camp.

Day 3: Game Drive, Hot Springs & Selous Grave

● Full-day game drive in Selous Game Reserve, including:
○ Visit to Beho Beho Hot Springs, a unique natural thermal pool
surrounded by wilderness.
○ Stop at Frederick Courteney Selous’ grave, paying homage to the
explorer and conservationist.
● Evening return to camp for dinner and overnight at Selous Tented Camp.

Day 4: Walking Safari with Bushman – Selous to Dar es Salaam

● Early morning foot safari with Bushman guides, learning traditional tracking and survival skills.
● After breakfast, drive back to Dar es Salaam for your 19:30 flight back to Zanzibar.
