Day 1: Dar es Salaam → Selous Game Reserve

● Pick up: 07:30 am at Hotel Slipway, Dar es Salaam.
● Activity: Drive to Selous Game Reserve (approx. 4-5 hours).
● Afternoon: Enjoy a boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River to spot hippos, crocodiles, and
diverse birdlife.
● Accommodation: Nyerere Tented Camp (All meals included).

Day 2: Full Day in Selous Game Reserve

● Activities:
○ Private full-day game drives across Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary (54,600 km²).
○ Boat safaris to explore the Rufiji River.
● Wildlife: Look for elephants, buffalo, rhinos, lions, leopards, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, impala,
hippo, waterbuck, and over 350 bird species.
● Accommodation: Nyerere Tented Camp (All meals included).

Day 3: Selous → Udzungwa Mountains National Park

● Morning: Optional game drive in Selous.
● Afternoon: Drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
● Evening: Arrival at Udzungwa Forest Camp.
● Accommodation: Udzungwa Forest Camp (BLD).

Day 4: Hiking in Udzungwa – Sanje Waterfalls

● Activities:
○ Hike through pristine forest to the 180m Sanje Waterfall.
○ Spot primates like Iringa Red Colobus and Sanje Mangabey.
○ Swim in natural plunge pools and observe endemic flora, including African Violets.
○ Forest lunch at the top of the falls with panoramic views.

Day 5: Udzungwa → Ruaha National Park

● Morning: Depart after breakfast for Ruaha National Park (approx. 5-6 hours), with lunch
en-route.
● Afternoon: Arrival at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive.
● Accommodation: Ruaha Hilltop Lodge (All meals included).

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

● Activities: Full-day safari with picnic lunch in the second largest park in Tanzania (10,300 km²).
● Wildlife: Elephants, Greater and Lesser Kudu, roan and sable antelope, lions, leopards, hippos,
crocodiles, and over 370 bird species.
● Accommodation: Ruaha Hilltop Lodge (All meals included).
