Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve
● Pick up from hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam.
● Drive to Selous Game Reserve (approx. 3–4 hrs).
● Afternoon boat safari on the Rufiji River to spot hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife.
● Overnight at Nyerere Tented Camp.
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Selous Game Reserve
● Enjoy a full day of game drives and walking safari in Selous, Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary.
● Wildlife highlights: elephants, buffalo, rhinos, lions, leopards, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras,
hippos, and over 350 bird species.
● Scenic landscapes include rivers, dense forests, and open savannahs.
● Dinner and overnight at Nyerere Tented Camp.

Day 3: Selous – Mikumi National Park
● After breakfast, drive to Mikumi National Park via scenic routes.
● Lunch en-route, followed by an afternoon game drive in Mikumi.
● Observe lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and a variety of bird species.
● Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Day 4: Full-Day Safari in Mikumi National Park
● Spend a full day exploring Mikumi’s vast plains on morning and afternoon game drives.
● Likely wildlife sightings: lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, African wild dogs, zebras,
hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, and eland.
● Return to Camp Bastian Mikumi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Udzungwa Mountains – Sanje Waterfalls
● After breakfast, drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
● Embark on a guided hike to Sanje Waterfalls through lush rainforest.
● Spot endemic primates like Iringa Red Colobus and Sanje Mangabey, and enjoy breathtaking
views.
● Swim in natural plunge pools and enjoy a forest picnic lunch.
● Return to Camp Bastian Mikumi for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Mikumi – Dar es Salaam
● Early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park.
● After breakfast, drive back to Dar es Salaam.
● Drop-off at hotel or airport.
