Day 1: Zanzibar – Dar es Salaam – Morogoro – Mikumi National Park

Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to the ferry terminal for the 07:00 am ferry to Dar es Salaam.
Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, transfer to the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) station for the 09:30 am train to Morogoro. Arrive in Morogoro at approximately 11:15 am, where your professional
driver-guide will meet you.
Drive to Mikumi National Park (approximately 1.5–2 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy a hot lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive.
Explore the famous Mkata Floodplain, often compared to the Serengeti due to its wide open landscapes. You may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, antelopes, and
numerous bird species.
In the evening, transfer to Camp Bastian Mikumi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Mikumi – Dar es Salaam – Zanzibar

After early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in Mikumi National Park. Early mornings offer excellent opportunities to see predators and other wildlife at their most active.
After the game drive, return to the lodge and begin your drive back to Dar es Salaam with a packed lunch box for the journey.
Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, transfer to the airport for your 21:00 flight back to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred back to your hotel.
